More Lyrics-

I wrote in a previous post about our desire to move and that we are in the process of selling our current house. This is our first house, the first one we bought and now the first we are trying to sell.

It is a tedious process. I love getting the phone call that a Realtor wants to come show our house. I hate the stress of getting three babes out of the door with everything looking swell. When I get home and see names on the list I get excited. When I hear that our house just wasn't right for the potential buyer I get frustrated.

I know that this is a process. I feel confident we are in God's will. His timing is not my timing and His ways are not my ways. I have heard this song "While I'm Waiting" on the radio many times. When I began applying the lyrics to my current situation I gained new perspective. I will worship while I wait. I will serve while I wait.

And above all, I will wait. Take a moment to read these words. Surely there is a circumstance you are in that the Lord is requiring you to wait. Isn't it reassuring to know that He knows how the story ends?

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

What are you waiting for?

Happy Friday~

The guitar string to break SOMEWHERE. (Have I already told you? In frustration that finding a church was so much harder than we anticipated, I asked God a few months after we moved here -- almost 2 years ago --- for a string to break at the church He had for us. Hasn't happened yet. I look for it every Sunday, especially when I go back to TN to visit our old one, LOL.
