Sweet Grandma Ruth

My great-grandmother, Margaret Ruth Boutell, passed away this morning. She was 95! Grandma Ruth was a spunky lady, loved to play bingo and used to send me underwear for Christmas.
She lived alone until she fell in October and broke her hip. Poor thing just never recovered. While I am glad she didn't have to linger any longer in pain I am mourning the fact that I didn't get to talk to her recently. I sent her a Christmas card with a picture of the kids in it. I wonder if she got it.
I will be traveling by plane with my parents and sister to honor this woman and to visit with other family members that live so far away. Won't you pray for us as we gather.
Life is fragile -
Tis Saturday~

I am so sorry! 95, that is amazing. I will be praying for you and your family. I hope you have a nice visit with your family. It was hard loosing Dustin's grandfather last year, but I really enjoyed seeing all his family that is spread around the US. Let me know if I can do anything for you.

Jamee...my heart goes out to you!!! We will pray for safe travel and for peace in your heart about not speaking to her recently. I know that burden can weigh heavy on a heart!! I did the same thing when my mother passed away...she had called me the day before wanting me and kids to come over but I was lazy and was worried about gas...so I didn't go! The next day she was gone. You will be in my heart and prayers. Love you girl!!!

You would think it would be easier at 95, but it is never easy.
Have a safe trip. Praying for you!
