Sick Bricks

**Updated at bottom**

Yep, that's us. I woke up Thursday morning feeling like I had been hit by a truck. I have heard that saying and thought I knew what it meant, but Thursday and Friday I really felt it. I thought it just my luck to get the flu in July when my whole family had it in Feb 07 and Feb 08 and I missed it. I even ran fever. I never run fever.

Saturday my tummy troubles began. Enough said.

My incredible husband took my three kiddos on a family trip with his parents and I stayed home to sleep. The sad part is that this trip was planned because I was ill and missed the last jaunt to east Texas. And I really thought I didn't get sick that often. I made Mr. Brick promise to tell everyone again and again that I did want to see them and I wasn't pretending.

They returned home Saturday night full of stories. I was still sick, so Sunday I was again left alone while the incredible Mr. Brick took the kids fishing AND swimming.

Then 10 pm hit. And #3 woke up screaming. She screamed off and on until 3 AM. poor baby, just could not get comfortable. I imagine it was tummy cramps. She finally stayed down at 3 and I fell asleep on the couch. I woke up groggily at 5 am when I heard a seal, I mean #1, coughing in my bedroom. I have heard that croup sounds like a seal's bark and yep, it does. I contemplated what we should be doing when miraculously she fell back asleep.

So did I.

Until 645 when #3 woke back up and Mr. Brick informed me that the same truck had hit him and sent him to the bathroom.

#2 is hanging tough. I am sure he'll get it tomorrow or Thursday or sometime when we are all better.

The girls have drs appts at 210, I am sure I will hear "It's just a virus" However at this point I'll gladly pay the $4o.

The sick brick haus is resting.............

#1 seems fine, though we will know for sure after some testing of her stool.....can we all say EEWWWWWWWWWWW......

#2 is still hanging tough and providing comic relief from all the sickness

#3 has ANOTHER ear infection. At least it is explained and treatable and isn't this wierd flu virus that I and the mister have......
