I made a list

of things I am never going to buy again.

-bud light - not a big deal, I haven't bought it in years.

-doritos - too fattening, anyway

-career builder - good thing I like my job

-planters - really?

-life water- i like that stuff!

-pepsi- not a big fan, anyway.

when, OH when did superbowl commercials become so ridiculous? It seems that in year past I watched the game solely for the ads. And after the wardrobe malfunction I started watching for the ads and the news items. This year STUNK! Maybe I will find something better to do next year. Eye-brow tweezing, anyone?

What did you think?

Happy Sunday~

I agree. There were maybe three commercials that made me laugh out loud. The rest were stupid or I just didn't get them.

The game, however, was incredible!

Ha ha! Most of them made no sense. There was maybe one that I remember being good.

I agree - the commercials were boring this year. My favorite was the LifeWater ad with the lizards doing the Thriller dance number.

It's so funny you wrote that because I was just getting ready to blog about my favorite things that I WILL buy again and again and again....
I actually watched the Superbowl for the game this year. We always root for the under dog and wait for that moment when the star football player thanks Jesus. This year we got both!!

I actually loved the Bud commerical where the Clydesdale got the dalmation to be his trainer. Other thanthat, I was vastly disappointed. Great game though.

I agree! I liked the Bud commercial where the dog trained the horse, but I have never and will never buy Bud. The Life water with the lizards dancing was pretty cute as well. All the other ones were terrible, most didn't even make sense. In fact, Dustin and I were talking about how our kids are not going to be able to watch them when they get older due to the sexual undertones of most of them. Ugh!

I will agree with Sarah, I did like listening to Plexico Buress (sp?) after the game.

I didn't catch many commercials...we women were talking too much! Most were so bad, we quit watching them!! Did like the Thriller dancing Life Water one but, won't buy the product b/c it's full of sugar! I also liked the Clydesdale one! Ad, not product. And, I agree Kelly, we had the same comments about the sexual 'overtones'...don't think there was too much undertoning to it!

I, too, was talking through most of the commercials. The one Victoria's Secret commercial I was impressed with because the girl was actually covered ... and it was a cute message ... but I'm married, so I can legally get excited about after game activities! ;o) I thought the cashew commercial with the ugly girl who rubbed herself with cashews was TOO funny. I also like the Coke commercials ... especially the one with Carvel and Frist. I didn't like the dalmatian training the horse commercial ... thought it was stupid and not very creative. There were more that I just didn't get. The game was awesome! I wasn't sure who I was going to cheer for until we started talking about the differences between Tom Brady and Eli Manning and started cheering for Eli. Anyway, we had fun visiting, eating, chasing babies and watching the game ... especially the end.

I liked the Victoria's Secret commercial, too......and that was a first! So I guess the advertising did some good, because I had been boycotting VS for awhile.

The last 3 minutes were incredible!

Last 3 minutes I did watch for sure....that was fun! OK, had to watch some of the ads on the internet today. Must say, I liked the Pepsi one with Timberlake. Thought it was too funny! Message in the VS one was pretty cool, she was pretty modest for VS, wasn't she?! Like you, the cashew one freaked me out! I have some in my desk J if you need a little refreshing one day!! :o) Doritos one really freaked me out! Ewww!

Didn't watch the game...

Currently, mouth full of Pepsi and Doritos, so I can't talk much...

I guess that leaves VS out of the near future, huh? ;-)
