It has been a week since posting.....I am sorry, oh my loyal readers ;) Just kidding! I know everyone out there is just as busy, if not more so than I am. I am actually behind in all my blog reading, as well. Does that mean my house is any cleaner? No. Though I did manage to fold AND put away 2 loads of laundry today.
I am thankful for all the fun we are having in preschool. There are a ton of fun activities that the kids love and art projects that are really cool and the weather is finally cooperating!
I am thankful for my new friend with the incredible front yard. We ate our picnic and spent two hours just playing there today. She even got my #3 to sleep....as a momma of 5 she has a pretty good touch!
I am thankful for Aunt Ag. This weekend we will travel to be with family to celebrate her 90th birthday. Talk about good genes! Mr. Brick's grandmother lived past her 94th birthday!
I am thankful #1, #2 and #3. I am consumed by these preschool years and thoroughly enjoying most every moment. The stories, songs and thoughts just delight me and the struggles pale in comparison to what is in store for us during the teen years, I am sure. However, I hope the seeds I am planting now will take root and bear fruit in those sometimes difficult years. Today as we were being silly I told my kids they rocked the house. #1 said "You know who really rocks the house? Jesus!"
Amen to that!
