We're home. We had a fun trip across the border to the East and now we are back in the Lone Star state. We stopped at a couple of nurseries on the way home and at this moment Mr. Brick is preparing the soil to plant his tomatoes, cantaloupes, watermelons and a butterfly bush. I got a pretty purple plant called Moses in a Basket and I am trying to figure out how best to grow it.

We spent time with some friends that are very into their garden and we hope some of their green thumb-ness wore off on us!

#1 and #2 missed us much and it was nice to be greeted with such sweet love when we returned. A little time away was good for everyone!!
