Sic 'em Bears!

The Sadler and Brick Offspring!
#1 and #2 in front of Pat Neff

All together now-

We spent most of today north of here at Mr. Brick's alma mater. Homecoming is a big deal there. We made it just in time for the band in the parade to cross in front of us. Then we met up with an old roommate and his familia. The kids loved getting candy from the floatees and the parents caught up some what. Life is definitely different with children!
We made it to the bookstore but quickly left due to my claustrophobia.
A fun lunch followed. Our family has 3 kids, the Sadlers have 2 and Em and Kevin have 1. AC thought she might be feeling the baby bug. Those of us with experience were willing to let her try with one of ours for a week or so, to see if she really meant it.
Not really.
The kids were good. It was funny to see all of us there. Grown up a bit. Still looking really good. Some of us with kids. Some of us single. All of us with collective memories of the times we shared in that town.
Next year we plan on being at the bonfire!

I'm claustrophobic too. I almost had an anxiety attack in a line at Astroworld that would through a tunnel.
