The kids and I went to a charity event on campus tonight at the soccer fields. A friend went to get a burger and came back with exciting news. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were right over there! We stood in line for about twenty minutes, met them and got this picture. Garth and Trisha were both super friendly and seemed down to earth. I noticed a Brooks daughter nearby and she said her older sister was thinking of coming to the University in town. Crazy!!

Ha ha ha! I was thinking they looked familiar...like I'd seen them in town or something... LOL!

They look like average people without all the lights and such. Kind of nice.

Way to catch a celeb shot!!! :-) That's one to put in the scrapbooks!!!

Very cool! I heard they were there...too bad I missed it! How cool would it be for their daughter to come to A&M. :)

hmmm....I really am not sure I would have recognized them! I was thinking she looked like a lady I know from dance. LOL! Really it wasnt until I read your words that I realized. Very cool though! Wonder where they live?

Great photo! How kind of them to pose for so many people. My mom met a famous person once that would give the fans that approached her the time of day. I've sneered at her movies ever since.

Wow, How fun!! I have a picture with President George W Bush when he came to Central for the bonfire memorial service.

Brady and I also saw President George Bush Sr one day in the CS wal-mart. Brady got him to sign the back of my grocery list! We didn't have a camera and besides he was just trying to shop! His body guards were right behind him keeping a close eye. They have to get tired of everybody following them around.
