It's a small world, after all.......

Good morning!

Thanks for the ego boost over the weekend. I didn't intend for that, honestly I was interested in who was reading. But it was a great side effect!!

Yesterday afternoon my sister and I went over to my Granny and Grandpa's to spend some time with them. Soon after my cousin came. Then some friends and the rest of my sweet family. We had ribs, corn on the cob, potatoes and strawberries for dinner. It was so yummy.

But what was even better was the fact that we were all together. Many years ago we spent every Sunday at my grandparents' house. In the same neighborhood as they live now. Man, that house had a great swimming pool. {Sigh}

As we were reminiscing about old times I remembered two girls I used to play with across the street. Josie knew their last name and I connected some dots......I used to play with the Burleson's. And now my friend Gail IS a Burleson! I called her and it was indeed the same family. That is where I watched the movie The Never Ending Story. And I remember a bigger blond brother. And a little brother named Boomer. My friend married the big brother. How crazy is that?????

Yep, it's a small world after all.........

Happy Monday~
