3-D

The Daddy/Daughter Dance was held Friday night at our local Children's Museum. My #1 had been talking about this event for a full year, after seeing our neighbor all dressed up last year. So I made reservations as soon as possible. I found a beautiful little girl dress 75% at Dillards and thought we were set.

I thought it would be fun to curl her hair. She didn't. She really didn't. I had to walk out of the bathroom in a frustrated moment, breathe deeply and ask God to remind me that this dance was about her and not me. She is gorgeous no matter how her hair looks! Was I slipping into celebrity salon mode?

Then Prince Charming arrived to rescue us. Her daddy brought her flowers. Huge gerbera daisies and she loved them!

They went to the ball, met Cinderella and #1 got all gussied up by a high school cheerleader. The white lipstick was a little unnverving!

It was a great night, lots of fun and well worth the monetary price. She had such fun and her daddy's attention all night long!

When Cass got deathly ill the DAY of her ballet recital last year, I cried sooo hard. It was really about me.....wahhhh! Anyway, she loved that she went to dress rehearsal and thought she had already done her recital. All was well. Tell Bean I said she looked GORGEOUS!!!

Soooo sweet! I love the pictures, and what a precious time for them. My favorite flowers are Gerber Daisies (in fact that is what Dustin gave me when he proposed...he knew they were my favorite), I think Mr B did a great job all the way around!
