I was talking to a friend last night at church and she asked me to walk with her to support her and her family as they walk in honor of her brother who has Down Syndrome. I quickly agreed. As I was filling out my paper work{is it called paperwork on the computer?} this morning I thought I would just donate an extra $5 and be done.
Then I felt like I should at least ask for more.
I know there are a ton of school fundraisers and charity events going on right now. My goal is to find 50 people to donate $5 and raise $250 for Gary's Buddies and for Down Syndrome research.
Can you spare $5?
Your Buddy Walk contribution will support local programs for people with Down syndrome and their families, as well as the national education, research and advocacy initiatives of the National Down Syndrome Society. Our combined local and national efforts are enhancing quality of life for children and adults with Down syndrome.

I have already raised $115. Although I didn't have much to do with it....you guys rock! Almost half way there.........I just need 27 more people to give $5....wanna help?
