JAM

What a week we've had. Mostly good, some tired, some bad. All that goes with the territory with two preschoolers, I imagine!
#1's new favorite food is homemade strawberry jam and peanut butter sandwiches. My cousins brought some of the delicious nectar as they traveled thru Texas on their way to Yuma. Not many things truly remind me of my childhood, but homemade strawberry jam does the trick. I remember being small and picking strawberries. I remember dipping strawberries in powdered sugar at Grandma Ruth's house, and most of all I remember toast with homemade strawberry jam on them. Now, I am a fan of strawberries in most every form, but jam is just heavenly. I have had this batch on vanilla ice cream, sandwiches, toast, and waffles. Our jar is almost empty.
Which means....
we need more jam!
Does it ship, Aunt Chris?

I wish I could ship it, I will check and see, it's cooked strawberry jam, then I freeze it so it stays just like I made it. So glad you love it. I promise I will make more, and try and get some to you. love the blog Aunt chris
