Smiles and Sleep

#3 is almost 8 weeks old. I cannot believe how the time is flying. We put her next to a 3 week old yesterday and she appeared massive. She has officially outgrown newborn diapers, yet her 0-3 mo clothes are still roomy. She drinks 5-6 bottles a day with 4-5 ozs. She is fussy in the evenings sometimes and often calms down when we walk outside. She is gorgeous, her daddy says. I agree!

And she has 2 new tricks! She sleeps through the night and she is smiling! About a week ago when she woke up at 3ish I put her pacifier in her mouth so I could go potty before I fed her. When I came out she was back asleep........so I let her sleep! And she didn't wake up til 645! She has done that consistently for a week and on Friday she started smiling. Big, goofy grins....I love it! Newborns are rather needy, and give back very little by way of reinforcement. But now I feel like we are really interacting and it brings such joy to me. #1 and #2 are also enjoying the smiles!

Here's a peek:

Happy Monday~
