Third Time Around

Happy Thursday!

So.....being pregnant with two preschoolers is way different than my first two pregnancies. When I was expecting #1 I was VERY focused on myself. Each pain I felt had to do with the pregnancy, my sheer exhuastion put me to bed at 9 pm each night, I just HAD to eat at every potential hunger pang, and on and on. Then when I was expecting #2 I had a small, nearly immobile baby so I again had lots of time to think about myself and focus on how I was feeling. Plus I was not working outside the home, so I had lots of time to think about ME.

Fast forward about 3 years. I now have two very busy babes under my feet. I work about 20 hrs a week at preschool. I have my own house that needs up keep. And needs it BAD at the moment! People keep asking me how I am feeling and I often have to stop to think about it. Now, I think this is a good thing. This is a less self focused time and I believe the entire world coould use less self focus! This should also make the time move faster towards the arrvial of baby brick #3, doesn't that sound incredible.....3 baby bricks! Who would have thought?

For those of you who are wondering, I am feeling fine. No morning sickness for me, at least not yet. The exhaustion hasn't hit yet either....thankfully! I am continuing to work out and I know that can only help things.

#1 and #2 think they also have a baby in their tummies and it is so funny to hear them taking care of it! I haven't explained the entire birds and bees theory to them just yet...........

We will keep you updated............

Oh, just wait until they pull a doll out of their shirts and then start nursing it. In public. It's great!!
